Second National Title for Otago Girls
The Otago Girls High School curling team of Emma Sutherland, Mhairi-Bronté Duncan, Heloise Fitzpatrick, Diana Yeritsyan and Michelle Bong won the 2015 NZ Secondary Schools Curling Championship title with a 9-6 win in the final of this year's event in Auckland, their second championship in as many years.
Earlier in the month, the Otago squad had repeated as South Island Secondary School Champions in a tightly fought match over an experienced Maniototo High School team played at the Dunedin Ice Stadium.

Tuesday Night
Tuesday night is organised for those curlers that play the traditional style of curling - Crampit which is commonly played outdoors.
Start time is 6.30pm - until about 9pm
The curling season runs from the beginng of May to the end of August
Cost per game is adults - $10
students - annual fee of $100 (which will be invoiced) with a $20 club fee.
The season fee will cover the cost of any leagues that they play in including high school, evening and their practice time. The fees do not cover the cost of tournaments.
Note players are expected to join the club as members.

You can enter your own team or if you're an individual and want to give it a go you may be able to be placed on a team by our Club Captain

Wednesday Night
Wednesday night is open to any type of delivery style of curling. Whether you slide, use a crampit or are a stick curler you're welcome to come out and play.

Highschool Curling
The Dunedin Secondary Schools Curling League is played after school on Tuesdays and Wednesdays and runs from the end of May to the end of August. Your school's sports coordinator will have information about the league and should be able to give you information on the competition.
